yes, it's a cute tool reference.

honestly after making don't bring secrets on submarines i felt like i was closer to my internal drummer, 

so i spent a little extra time on the snare accents to make it more like a part someone would actually play. 

also after all the long melodies with DBSOS I felt like exploring the opposite, 

so we've got all this plucks and hits instead of long notes. 

mix-wise i wanted it to kind wash together, in that weird dissociative way when you realize your body is actually made of the same stuff as your environment and the boundaries temporarily dissolve. 

but in a cute, joyful way.
