In January 2020, I came across a compilation of a lowrider hydraulic jumping competition;

it was a bunch of short clips and they all had different west coast classic g-funk songs playing in each clip.

I watched it maybe 6 times in a row and got inspired by the similarities in the drum patterns...

so i started with an open hi-hat on the 1 and the rest just happened.
